Animation the pilot episode for Ananse-spider series

The client wanted to produce an approx. 7-minute long pilot based on the African spider character Ananse. The wish was to preserve African folklore and pass it on to future generations.

I rigged and animated the characters based on the script and paintings provided by the client.

Finally, we did the music and sound design together with sound designer-composer Boris Laible. The music style arose naturally from the animation and was built on african rhytmic music.
